Florida Presbyterian Homes is honored to have received recognition in two recent community choice award surveys, one published by LKLD Magazine and the other held by The Ledger, Lakeland’s local newspaper.
In the 2020 Best of LKLD, community members voted Florida Presbyterian Homes as No. 1 in the BEST REHABILITATION SERVICES category. This is well deserved for members of the rehab team, known for offering superior on-site Rehabilitation Services for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology for residents in the Porter McGrath Health Center, as well as outpatient services for assisted living and independent residents. FPH also offer short-term rehab for those recovering from a hospital stay, which is known for being a “caring bridge between hospital and home.”
Additionally, FPH was recognized as a FINALIST in two categories of The Ledger’s Best of Central Florida 2020 survey.
- Best Assisted Living Facility – When residents need assistance with three or more activities of daily living, FPH offers both apartments and the first floor of their Assisted Living building — dedicated to those needing a higher level of care, but who do not require 24-hour skilled nursing services.
- Best Nursing Home – For award-winning skilled nursing care, FPH provides family-centered care around-the-clock to residents in their Porter McGrath Health Center, a Skilled Nursing Facility that focuses on the unique needs of each resident.
Congratulations to the team members who make up the Rehabilitation, Assisted Living and Nursing Home areas of Florida Presbyterian Homes. We applaud your efforts and are proud of this recognition voted on by local community members.
