Guests with Medicare coverage will need to qualify for skilled care in order for Medicare to pay for short-term rehabilitation. Medicare covers certain skilled care services needed daily on a short-term basis. Many private insurance plans and HMO’s have short-term rehabilitation benefits as well and Florida Presbyterian Homes participates in many of these plans. Individual policies should be reviewed for specifics regarding coverage.
